Privacy Policy

Updated for the static Cloudflare migration

Migration notice: SDAHymnal.net is being moved away from WordPress and Easy Digital Downloads. Public pages remain available, but digital checkout is intentionally paused until the PayPal, Cloudflare D1 and private R2 delivery layer is connected.

Static site data

SDAHymnal.net is being rebuilt as a static Cloudflare Pages site. Public pages can be served without a WordPress login system, WordPress admin area, PHP theme execution or Easy Digital Downloads plugin running on the public website.

Imported comments

Approved comments from the previous WordPress site may be displayed publicly with the commenter name and comment text. Private comment data such as email addresses and IP addresses must not be published in the static pages.

Advertising and embeds

The site may use Google AdSense and may link to or embed YouTube resources. Those third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Future checkout data

When digital checkout is re-enabled, payments should be processed through PayPal. The site should not store payment-card details. Order records for new purchases may be stored only as needed to confirm payment and provide secure download access.

Security goal

The purpose of this migration is to preserve the SDA Hymnal archive while reducing the public attack surface by removing the legacy WordPress production layer from the public site.
