Digital Downloads Policy
Current checkout status
Checkout is temporarily paused while SDAHymnal.net is moved from the legacy WordPress and Easy Digital Downloads system to a safer static Cloudflare Pages site.
The download pages remain live so visitors can still read about SDA Hymnal PowerPoint, PDF, sheet music, instrumental MP3 and worship video resources. Purchase buttons and old prices are intentionally hidden until the secure delivery system is ready.
Future secure delivery
When checkout is re-enabled, paid files should be delivered through PayPal Checkout, Cloudflare Pages Functions, D1 order records and private Cloudflare R2 download links.
Paid files should not be stored in the public GitHub repository or public static site output.
Download access
After checkout is connected, successful buyers should receive a secure temporary download link. Large files may be delivered with expiry limits or download-attempt limits to protect the files from public sharing.
Some resources may be large, including PowerPoint video and MP3 bundles, so a reliable internet connection may be required.
Refunds and access problems
Digital products are normally difficult to return once access has been delivered. Genuine duplicate payments, failed access, missing files or technical delivery problems should be handled fairly once the new checkout system is live.
Until checkout is re-enabled, do not use old WordPress or Easy Digital Downloads checkout links.
